14 July 2010 FESTIVAL TO FEATURE RANGE OF 200 STALLS Festival to feature range of 200 stalls
The Hunters Hill Moocooboola Festival, now in its 21st year, will take place on Sunday August 1 at Boronia Park from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
At this year’s festival there will be a market bazaar with more than 200 stalls of artworks, hand-crafted items, community and environmental information, designer clothing and jewellery, plants, unique and unusual wares and bric a brac.
Head to the Hunters Hill Hotel Tent for some beer and wine, or kick back and enjoy the entertainment with some great food such as Tapas, Mediterranean, Gozleme, Malaysian, Peruvian, wood fire pizza, ribs and rumps, Cuban Creole, Quesadilla, Mayaan coffee, organic juices or twisted potatoes on a stick.
Special guests at this year’s festival are ABBA-LANCHE - the Australian ABBA Show - who will take to the stage at 3.30pm.
Three further stages will feature an array of music and performances including: jazz, pop, roots, rock, blue grass and folk from the likes of Fiddlers Feast, Little Sadie, The Vandemonians, Sydney Mandolin Orchestra, and Bridge City Jazz Band.
For the kids there is a free circus playground, animal farm, games and challenges and a jumping castle.
There will also be all day rides from Planet Entertainment and a dog show at 11am on the top oval.
The Grand Parade starts at 9.30am.
