Gladesville Shopping Village centre manager
Gladesville Shopping Village will sponsor two boats and crews in this year’s Ryde Rivers Festival Chambers of Commerce Dragon Boats Challenge on Sunday September 12.
Chamber of Commerce president Reg Cain and vice president Yvonne Dornan welcomed members and guests who included member Victor Berger who is chairman of this year’s Ryde Rivers Festival and Hunters Hill Mayor Clr Sue Hoopmann and Clr Peter Astridge.
Also present was Sharon Lockett of Dragon Boats NSW who is a Festival organising committee member and Lane Cove MP Anthony Roberts who will organise the second team with TWT Gladesville Teen Queen Zoe Alexiou.
Gladesville Shopping Village centre manager David Taitz said the Village was pleased to sponsor the Chamber’s challenge to put Gladesville firmly on the map as the leading local shopping centre.
“We are still the prime family friendly shopping centre where people come first”, David Taitz said.
